How we use it in the kitchen
At the end of a meal with coffee, tea or a small glass of vin santo. They are a classic of Tuscan Christmas.
Producer and origin
Siena, Tuscany (PGI): produced and packed in the province of Siena.
Ingredients
Sweet and bitter almonds, sugar, egg white, candied orange peel (or orange flavouring), icing sugar.
Allergens
Contains: EGGS, TREE NUTS (almonds). The traditional recipe contains no gluten or milk: check the label for traces.
Storage
In a cool, dry place, wrapped in its paper or in a closed container. It stays soft: close it well after opening.
Complete the dinner
Goes well with: Coffee, tea, vin santo, panforte.
